It's a shame they're so underrated. Actually, it's what i've always really liked about Honest Hearts. I am rather curious to how the forums answer this. Now, killing Follows-Chalk could be just one of those simple and sometimes regrettable choices you make while playing and that would be no big deal. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. Sounds good until you hear about what happens to the Sorrows with this decision. That's why Daniel loses sleep at night.

You're restricted to one allignment and view set. I don't want to derail your topic, so the Cliff's Notes edition is that playing yourself rather than a character causes the player to self-indentify within the context of the game. Unfortunately, that helpful act typically happens after the last ambusher fires on you only to die at your hands before Follows-Chalk can do anything except appear to be yet another ambusher, one who will charge right up to you through the same hail of fire that took down those you think are his comrades. Zion remains pure and untainted. Not everything is black and white, which is very irritating in this case.

The Dead-Horses lead by Joshua Graham and the Sorrows led by Father Brother? I guess I can understand that. Funny thing, by the time I entered Zion for the first time, I was level twelve or so and had not killed a single human being in that play-through up until the Honest Hearts opening ambush which kills everyone else in your party. Another ambusher will appear and will even fire on you. Disagreements spill over into real life and the game begins to break down with feelings being hurt. If you need advice, then on the pages of our portal you can find all kinds of Guides for different games. I would never, under any circumstance, side with Daniel. Guerilla warfare will be present and you will exhaust tons of ammo.

They will eventually have to fight back which leads to… Siding with Joshua and defending Zion against the White Legs. And accidentally killing Follows-Chalk is much easier than might be expected. This is important to know because it may help you back off your natural aggression a bit when trying to defend the caravan. I like seeing the different outcomes for all the choices you can make. All posts and comments in end, come down to moderator discretion. You can also loot the armor from Daniel at the Sorrows Camp.

The caravan is ambushed almost immediately after arriving in the canyon lands. He's essentially holding the idiot ball. If you need to look over a cliff edge with a bit less risk of sliding over, back out to third-person for a safer look. If they're to lose it, better they do so in defense of their home than to allow others to walk all over them. For some strange reason after you encourage the Sorrows to fight and win they become an aggressive tribe — their innocence lost but their home saved. However, Follows-Chalk comes up behind him and is not dressed in a way that might clearly distinguish him from your assailants. In video games the player is almost universally some sort of chosen one, and as such the game is weighted in the player's favor and there is almost never permanent failure states.

Since the advent of the White Legs arrival in Zion Daniel has been evacuating and relocating the Sorrows out of Zion to safety. No other way to deal with threats. Truly Zion is a place to be protected and cherished, but a malicious group of marauders has come to Zion to destroy it and its people. Daniel has been able to safely, for the most part, evacuate the majority of the Sorrows from Zion. Bethesda sure does love their extremes.

I prefer to let Joshua Graham execute Salt upon Wounds, he lived like a dog, he can die like one. So now an insult from a party member is now an insult to the player. Daniel is strong in his convictions, kind to any who come before him, and patient towards his flock The Sorrows in the attempt to convert them. Which ending did you choose, or are planning to, and which do you think is better? Information on any game in our database is complete — release date, screenshots, videos, walkthrough and more.
